Tworzenie Pod贸w -> Eskalacja do ns SAs

Zamierzamy stworzy膰:

  • Konto us艂ugi "test-sa" z uprawnieniami klastra do czytania sekret贸w

  • Zostanie utworzony ClusterRole "test-cr" oraz ClusterRoleBinding "test-crb"

  • Uprawnienia do listowania i tworzenia pod贸w zostan膮 przyznane u偶ytkownikowi o nazwie "Test"

  • Zostanie utworzony Role "test-r" oraz RoleBinding "test-rb"

  • Nast臋pnie potwierdzimy, 偶e SA mo偶e listowa膰 sekrety oraz 偶e u偶ytkownik Test mo偶e listowa膰 pody

  • Na koniec podszyjemy si臋 pod u偶ytkownika Test, aby utworzy膰 pod, kt贸ry zawiera SA test-sa i ukra艣膰 token konta us艂ugi .

  • To jest spos贸b, aby pokaza膰, 偶e u偶ytkownik m贸g艂by w ten spos贸b eskalowa膰 uprawnienia

Aby stworzy膰 scenariusz, u偶ywane jest konto administratora. Ponadto, aby wyeksfiltrowa膰 token sa w tym przyk艂adzie, u偶ywane jest konto administratora do wykonania polecenia wewn膮trz utworzonego poda. Jednak, jak wyja艣niono tutaj, deklaracja poda mog艂aby zawiera膰 eksfiltracj臋 tokena, wi臋c uprawnienie "exec" nie jest konieczne do eksfiltracji tokena, uprawnienie "create" jest wystarczaj膮ce.

Bind explicitly Bindings

W sekcji "Zapobieganie eskalacji uprawnie艅 i uruchamianie" na stronie https://unofficial-kubernetes.readthedocs.io/en/latest/admin/authorization/rbac/ wspomniano, 偶e je艣li SA mo偶e tworzy膰 Binding i ma explicite uprawnienia Bind do Roli/Roli klastra, mo偶e tworzy膰 powi膮zania, nawet u偶ywaj膮c R贸l/R贸l klastra z uprawnieniami, kt贸rych nie ma.
